Can you help?
Do you own any eighteenth or early nineteenth century original Australian almanacs (almanacks), directories or lists/databases that would be useful for others researching their family trees?
If so would you be willing to allow them to be used by FamilyTreeOz.com to create free searchable indexes?
If the answer is yes to both of these questions then please contact us.
Please also contact us if you have these type documents you wish to sell.

The above search will list motor cars registered in South Australia in 1910. It shows the official number, which, under the regulations of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1907, each car is supposed to carry, and the name and address of the registered owner. The number plates must be, displayed in a conspicuous position in front and at rear of motor cars, and on motor cycles in such position as to be easily deciphered from either side. This database of car and bike owners has been compiled from the sixth edition of the 'The Tourists Road Guide' which was published by W.K Thomas & Co. in 1910. |
